We are delighted to share our first secondary school age digital financial education programme: Online Money Twist – Years 7-9*.
This free independent learning course helps 11-14 year olds explore their relationship with money and the consequences of what we do with it.
Involving videos, games and quizzes, Online Money Twist shows young people how we earn, save, spend and budget. It can be introduced via families or a teachers’ adapted curriculum.
With millions of pupils in the UK at home it is a unique opportunity for parents to help young people tackle topics they often lack the time, confidence or skills to address.
Online Money Twist has a special focus on the power of advertising, shopping deals, product comparisons and money management.
Two sessions are designed around the framework of: Best Deal, Best Feel and Best 4U and involves maths, critical thinking and reasoning.
Online Money Twist complements our Key Stage 3 classroom programme, a series of sessions delivered in school by MyBnk trainers.
We also offer a free online Years 1-2** parent / teacher-led programme and Years 3-6*** child-led sessions.
MyBnk is re-imagining our award winning offering for 5-25 year olds, including live streams for young adults. We have also created a dedicated space on our website featuring service updates, Home Learning products and Free Resources as well as immediate support for young adults including guides and signposting.
